Finnish venture capital investor Inventure has announced its fourth fund, sized at EUR 150 million with a focus on the Nordics and the Baltics. In addition to Tesi, other investors include e.g., European Investment Fund (EIF), Ilmarinen, Molten Ventures, OP, as well as Nordea Finland and Nordea Sweden. Also, the KRR IV, a fund-of-fund managed by Tesi, invested.

Inventure’s track record includes backing such category leaders as Wolt, Swappie, Blueprint Genetics, Canatu, Beddit, and Haltian.

Inventure has become a significant operator, both domestically and internationally. It has actively expanded its operations into the Nordics and the Baltics. On top of the proven track record, Inventure is respected among institutional investors, and it has extensive networks from which its portfolio companies can take benefit. It was only natural for Tesi to continue as an investor in the new fund”, states Tapio Passinen, Investment Director at Tesi.

Tesi has invested in all three previous Inventure’s funds, and the KRR II and KRR III fund-of-funds managed by Tesi, invested in the second and third.
