Sakari Mesimäki will start on May 23, 2022, as a temporary project researcher in Tesi’s Fund Investments team. Sakari is currently pursuing a doctorate in social anthropology at the University of Cambridge. In his research, he investigates Finnish startup culture and the applications of entrepreneurial agency in solving social and environmental issues.

At Tesi, he will explore the ways in which Tesi’s Fund Investments team conducts team evaluations of fund managers as well as the processes and best and silent practices around the topic.

Sakari joins Tesi from the Nordic MIMIR Fellows program. Fellows-programs are courses run by top universities that act as an interface between academia and business.
